In 37 years doctor Levin has had time to create and enter into practice a new method of treatment of hemorrhages in a brain (геморрагического a stroke), allowed to lower death rate from 47 % to 12 %. It became the Winner of the award of the governor of the Arkhangelsk region «For the contribution to medicine». In 2006 its report at the European congress of anaesthesiologists in Madrid has been recognised by one of the best. The presented conclusions of its master’s thesis have caused a keen interest of the world medical public, and the method has been added to the arsenal by leading clinics of the world. Today Alexey Levin works in Clinic of the Moscow institute of cybernetic medicine where treats псориаз, diseases of joints, headaches and other difficult illnesses.

– Alexey Viktorovich how you have come to medicine and why have chosen resuscitation?
– In 1996 I have ended the Arkhangelsk state medical academy. The doctor wished to be since the childhood, at all I do not remember, from which age … For some reason when children, the future doctors, choose specialisation at institute, the majority wish to be surgeons. But the more deeply you learn a human body, the you understand more what to cut – not always the most important thing. To manage not to finish before be more important. By a youth I have decided that to me resuscitation where a matter of life and death constantly dares is closer.

– Resuscitation for simple people associates with something terrible and unpredictable for a life. Whether it is possible to get used to death?
– There are situations when you lose the patient of eight-ten years and understand that such outcome was inevitable, and happens, the sixteen-year girl … In such cases always dies start to think, whether and you have correctly made all during that moment… Here, probably, it is necessary to learn simply to worry an event reason, instead of soul to remain … it it is very important!
– In what an essence of your method which has allowed to keep many human lives?
– When I have started to take up the issue of a hemorrhage in a brain (геморрагический a stroke), standard in medicine application (haemostatic) preparations was considered. But in practice it led to blood pressure strengthening in the centre and to numerous complications. I have judged differently: if the organism has been compelled компенсаторно to stratify a vessel it is necessary to create all conditions for pressure normalisation in the amazed site, and has suggested to appoint means (anticoagulants) diluting blood. At first sight it is a nonsense, and it seemed absolutely wrongful. It is natural that at a hemorrhage it was psychologically difficult to doctors to appoint to the patient the preparations ostensibly strengthening a bleeding. Actually pressure and force of a blood-groove in a sick site at appointment of preparations diluting blood decrease that allows to stabilise a condition of the patient. First to me strongly got from colleagues. But positive results have sorted things out.

– And why you have decided to leave resuscitation and to go to therapy?
– In нейрореанимации I have worked 10 years. Also has understood that it is time to leave therefrom. I in general am assured, it is necessary what to leave in time – on peak. When two years ago I have arrived to Moscow, I already had a name – I was invited to work in the Main military hospital of a name of Burdenko, Institute of First aid of a name Sklifosovsky …

– Then why you have chosen Clinic of the Moscow institute of cybernetic medicine?
– Casually together with colleagues it has appeared here and has been pleasantly surprised by not so much level of medical equipment of clinic, every possible preparations and the equipment which here are applied, how many by the approach to the patient, non-standard algorithm of thinking of doctors, quality of diagnostic process and unique complex intensive therapy. I have wanted to work here and about the choice I am not sorry. The usual expert-therapist could be lost simply here, and my preparation and practice have appeared are pertinent. Moreover, it was necessary to much to study.
